I will stamp all over 'serious fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I will break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

Despite such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's largest financial successes, regularly earning substantial earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters met for the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is really happening.
