Cars in Germany's Town Discovered Covered with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Law Enforcement State

Police reported they were alerted by a man who discovered a vehicle in Hanau covered with reddish fluid

Around 50 automobiles have been marked with what appears to be blood from a person in the Germany's municipality of Hanau close to Frankfurt, as reported by police.

Automobiles, walls and postal boxes were vandalized, occasionally with prohibited symbols, they reported in a statement.

Law enforcement state they were alerted late on Wednesday night, when a individual observed that a vehicle in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been covered with a reddish substance.

The liquid had been applied in the form of a banned symbol, they reported.

Officers then discovered many other vandalized vehicles and house walls in the adjacent neighborhood.

These symbols are banned in Germany under laws banning the public exhibition of Nazi-era symbols.

Law enforcement state early analysis indicate the fluid was probably human bodily fluid.

"At present there remains no clue as to where it came from; investigators are currently not informed of any injuries in connection with the incident," they commented.

Local authorities announced they were working "to resolve the incident" and have requested to the public for information.

A high-ranking official said the attack made him speechless and had to be addressed quickly.

"This event strikes at the very heart of Hanau and reawakens the trauma of the right-wing terrorist attack five years ago," he posted on a platform, referring to the killing of nine people by a gunman focusing on residents of immigrant origin in February 2020.
